My husband was going to toss this old DVD rack when I told him I thought it would make the perfect
DIY seed starter stand.
Being the frugal gardening girl I am I drug it out back and stood it in the planter in a sunny spot. The best thing about this seed starting stand is that when I water the top pots, the water drains through to water all the seedlings below. This works especially well when I am fertilizing with my compost tea and saves water as well.
That's a great idea. I'll be on the lookout for one before next spring! I have to start my Carmen peppers indoors because no one around here carries them and they're the best!
