Quick Pop In

I am in the middle of loads of paperwork to get my daughter into a particular school next year. It has been a little traumatic for me (not in a bad way) as for the first time in 16 years of homeschooling, I may have a daughter in public school. New pathways for me for sure. I am also cooking lasagna and fixings as a neighbor of ours has passed away and I am taking dinner to the family tonight. Off to the store right now. Hope to visit and catch up soon.

  1. Wow! That will be a change for your family. Hope it all goes smoothly. I think that for me, just like being self-employed totally ruined me to work for anybody, 18 yrs of homeschooling has probably rendered me completely incapable of dealing with "schools" -- at least the ones we have here. But I always say never say never, because you don't know what might lie ahead and what opportunities might present themselves.

  4. Yes, we are facing changes too for school as our oldest graduates 8th grade this year. The growing and changing is hard isn't it... bittersweet ♥
    Blessings to you, Kelsey

  5. WOW that is a lot to think about for sure. I bet there is a bit of anxiety over it, but she is going to do great. Nice of you to cook a meal for the family I am sure they will appreciate it.

  6. As a teacher I really hate the pressure schools put parents under this time of year. It happens earlier and earlier each year. Thinking about you. I know your neighbors are grateful for your kindness and a delicious meal. Hugs!
