I am in the middle of loads of paperwork to get my daughter into a particular school next year. It has been a little traumatic for me (not in a bad way) as for the first time in 16 years of homeschooling, I may have a daughter in public school. New pathways for me for sure. I am also cooking lasagna and fixings as a neighbor of ours has passed away and I am taking dinner to the family tonight. Off to the store right now. Hope to visit and catch up soon.

Wow! That will be a change for your family. Hope it all goes smoothly. I think that for me, just like being self-employed totally ruined me to work for anybody, 18 yrs of homeschooling has probably rendered me completely incapable of dealing with "schools" -- at least the ones we have here. But I always say never say never, because you don't know what might lie ahead and what opportunities might present themselves.
ReplyDeleteSeems like life has so many changes all the time. I am sure you will all enjoy this new adventure. Good luck on all the paperwork. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteYou're such a busy lady! Hope all goes well w/the upcoming changes...keep us posted.
ReplyDeleteYes, we are facing changes too for school as our oldest graduates 8th grade this year. The growing and changing is hard isn't it... bittersweet ♥
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you, Kelsey
WOW that is a lot to think about for sure. I bet there is a bit of anxiety over it, but she is going to do great. Nice of you to cook a meal for the family I am sure they will appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteAs a teacher I really hate the pressure schools put parents under this time of year. It happens earlier and earlier each year. Thinking about you. I know your neighbors are grateful for your kindness and a delicious meal. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThat's a big move for you and your daughter. Good luck! Also very sorry about your neighbor. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteYou have so much going on, Elaine! I am sorry about your neighbor.
