Welcome to Sunny Simple Sundays.
First remember that hanging basket that I could not figure out what to put in? If you leave something empty for a while in this house a certain someone decorates it for you. This is what Mr. Sunny has gathered in there.
Okay now for the party. I am keeping this simple. Just join up your blog post, giveaway or whatever. Just keep if family friendly. You can be a follower of this blog if you'd like. No worries.
If you haven't joined one before then just go to the post on your blog you want to use and click on the title. It will give you the URL of it and copy that. When you click on the box to join the party it will give you the prompt and just enter that URL and it will guide you through the rest. That's it. E-mail me if you have any other questions about linking up.
Thank you so much and have a wonderful SUNDAY!!
I will choose one person from the party and send them something cute I picked up at the bookstore yesterday. That's it. Can't wait to see what you all have to share.
Okay I can see I did something wrong and it is linking just the name of your blog and not a picture so I will have to work on that for next week. Thanks so much for joining though. I really appreciate it.

I found your linky party at Lemon Lane Cottage. I just posted a very simple idea for some whimsy in the garden and it is perfect to join in today. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteThanks bunches for hosting. Your little girl holding that chicken is adorable.
ReplyDeleteHi! This is the first time I've "linkied." Since reading your blog for a while, I thought the chickens cross stitch was kind of appropriate. Thanks! And have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI just joined the party, have a great Sunday!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting ~ Simple sunday's will be fun!!
ReplyDeleteI do love the limey green color of your background, and forgot to mention it to you the other day.
ReplyDeleteVery summery.
Good luck with your new linkups.

Oooo... I like the lime green too!
ReplyDeleteI think it is perfectly fine to NOT have a thumbnail. I'll admit, I decide to click on a link based on picture---this way, the way you have it, I want to click on each and every one!
thanks for hosting, I hope to send some traffic your way for your 1st party!~~Pat
Your hubby just amazes me!
ReplyDeleteI joined in the party....good luck with it!

ReplyDeleteElaine, I hope to join next Sunday. Your hubs has the perfect eye for filling things. And may I just say it is such a pleasure to stop by your blog, always relaxes me. Ann
ReplyDeleteThanks Elaine - I follow your blog every day but I've never linked to a party yet. Still learning about this blogging stuff and you made it so easy! I've just posted so my friends will find your blog too. J
ReplyDeleteI like what your hubby has in there. Thanks for hosting! ~ Maureen
ReplyDeleteI love what you created. I am also joining you today.
ReplyDeleteI really like the browns with the black...cute vignette!
ReplyDeleteI linked my post about the white violets....I am so proud I have not killed it and this is the third round of blooms on it! :D
Sweet shelf. Perfect with the basket that collects things. I love your blog. I read about the hens on how your husband kindly built a cute chicken house. I read about the sunflower that you have at the property line and that your neighbor does not like. Not like sunflowers is incomprehensible to me. But we are different. I have read about your talented girls that you managed to do home schooling. I wish you a wonderful week! Zinnia
ReplyDeleteHey, I'm back from church and wanted to thank you for hostessing the party! I'll look forward to joining each week. Hugs ~ Mary
ReplyDeleteThat looks so cute together! I would have never thought of hanging the basket! So smart.
ReplyDeleteI added my recent blog post to Simple Sunday....not so simple though. Hope it's okay!

ReplyDeleteCongrats on hosting your first linky party, I love your chicken updates by the way (never too many :))
ReplyDeleteMr Sunny did a great job of filling the empty basket, I think.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous Sunday.
Hugs, Cindy
Looks like the linky party was a huge success! I have lots of fun reading to do tonight now. Thanks Elaine!
ReplyDeleteHi Elaine, we just returned from our little trip and I could not miss your link party. My link is somewhat old but I did not want to miss your first party my friend. bighugs, olive
ReplyDeleteGreat party Elaine. Thanks for hosting. Patty
ReplyDeleteHi Elaine, glad to have found your party. Is this your first one? Looking forward to joining often. Just gotta say I could leave something empty forever and hubby would never think of decorating it. Just not in his blood. lol!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Jann
Mr. Sunny did a great job filling up the empty basket. If I hung an empty basket it would remain empty until I filled it, however if there is a clean counter or tabletop I am constantly picking up after Mister who leaves his "stuff" EVERYWHERE! LOL . . .I saw the linky party to late to sign on, but it looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteCute idea for a party. I'm not creative enough to come up with a unique idea, so I've never hosted one. :-)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on hosting your first link-up party, Elaine!
ReplyDeleteYou've created a wonderful 'theme' that will be lots of fun and blessings for everyone!
Thanks for doing this :-)
I think your hubby has a good eye for prim decorating.
Your basket looks terrific!
Have a great week..Trish xx
Mr. Sunny sure has a great sense of decorating style there. It turned out great. Thanks a lot for hosting and wish you a lovely day.
ReplyDeleteElaine -- I am LATE to the party but wanted to join in. Thanks for hosting and next time I'll try to get here on time :)
