The month has been rolling along. Each day busy with everyday things but also trying to get my holidays in order. I am eager to start wrapping the gifts I already have. Carving a time each week to do that is a priority. My goal is to be done before December but I am pretty sure I won't make it. Oh well.
I went to another pinterest party where we made adorable Christmas crafts. A tree has been brought out to tuck among the fall decor. Thanksgiving is fast approaching. A day out for frozen yogurt with mom.
Cleaning my stove burner grates in preparation for the holidays. In the midst of painting the den linen white and my brother has built us a brand new brick porch.
I have to say, you sure don't look your age. You look a good ten years younger. You're going to have a good looking porch!

Wow! What a gorgeous sunset! Glad you captured it!
ReplyDeleteOooops...sunrise. ;0P
ReplyDeleteLet me know how you like your brick porch. We have one and the bricks hurt my bare feet in the summertime. Curious as to how others like the brick. xox

Looks and sounds like a perfect November to me. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteI will definitely be trying your grate cleaning tip! Thanks, I tend to just avert my eyes from the things because I can't get the gunk off. lol ;>) Your brick porch is going to be so pretty, I love the warmth of brick, it's my favorite thing to use for paths, porches and patios. I am slowly doing a little Christmas decorating each day. I have a good excuse to do it early this year and it is going to make things so much less rushed I may begin early very year from now on!
ReplyDeleteI wondered if you were all ready for Christmas since you started so long ago.
ReplyDeleteOh, a brick porch, how beautiful.
I'm up early enough to catch these, and this one is straight from GOD'S
ReplyDeleteColoring book. WOW! This is so awesome, and if you think about it you captured 1 moment in time which will never be duplicated, and shared it with all of us..It is stunning.
Moving on to a topic less stunning, your stove grates..HARD TO CLEAN, you have a secret, super fast way?
The brick porch is looking good!
ReplyDeleteI bought FIVE GALLONS of Ooops! paint at Lowes a couple of months back...it was Valspar.
Then...I stood at the paint chip display until I found the closest color to it. Guess What? LINEN.
I can't wait to get to finally use it. Repainting the yellow in the kitchen and the front bedroom and utility room. Yes! I think 5 gallons should go a long way. :)

It has been a wonderful month. I am going to run by with your bowls and take a peek at your porch. Let me know when...
ReplyDeleteWow! I wish I could've seen that sunrise in person - your pic of it is gorgeous!! You've been one busy lady lately :)
ReplyDeleteSmiles, DianeM
Elaine, I'm so impressed that you've bought gifts. I haven't bought a single one! I'm kind of in panic mode. We're staying home this year which means more presents (rather than a vacation which means maybe one)….
