Favorite Frugal Books

The first frugal living books I ever read were those by Amy Dacyczyn. In fact before they were books, the info was in a newsletter. I admired her frugality and the tips in her newsletter. Though I am not that frugal, I loved the complete detail of all the ideas for saving money.

I also admire the Amish and find inspiration in their frugal ways. This book is an easy read but has great ideas for simplifying and saving money.

  1. Looks like these are all some tips I need to read and implement as I am considering retirement soon.... Not as easy to make ends meet for sure!

  2. I also save a ton by buying good quality items from thrift stores, furniture, clothes, etc. I buy other things new on ebay, as well as high end/gently used clothes. I've also made $$$ selling on ebay! It's weird for me to shop in "normal" retail stores.
