The Future Of My Blogging

Sitting here with Mr. Pumpkin Head pondering the future of blogging.

My laptop died and because I needed a new dryer, I held off and used an old computer of my daughter's. Finally, I ordered a new laptop and it was so beautiful and shiny but lo and behold, the space bar did not work. Can you believe that? Clearly no one checks these things before shipping.

So now I will look for a computer good for blogging. I am in the range of less than $800, preferably less than $500. If you can suggest a good laptop you are happy with for a reasonable price, please let me know in the comments.

Sunny Simple Homeschool Blog

I started a separate blog to share what I have learned with almost twenty years of homeschooling and wanted to let everyone know it is up and active again and with a new post. Head on over to Sunny Simple Homeschool.

A Simple Life 2013

It has been quite a year around our home. Many blessings and changes and as always two parents trying to keep it going in what we call "organized chaos".

We love home and family and though life is often exhausting and leaves us falling into bed at night, it is not lost on us how much we have and are thankful for.

We gardened and raised kids and animals and survived another very hot summer.
We had a child spread her wings and fly the coop while we had some new chickens actually come to live in our real coop.

The holidays are here and we are busy getting the house together and have been decking the halls all weekend. 2013 has been a great year and I am looking forward to some new adventures in 2014 but mostly to this little simple life I cherish the most.

Friday Night and Some Giveaway News

Tonight for entertainment we are watching "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown." My all time favorite Peanut's movie and I own every one of them. Remember to never jump into a pile of leaves with a wet sucker.

And I have wonderful news. This weekend I will be hosting a giveaway for a wreath from Balsam Hill. They have such beautiful artificial trees, wreaths and garlands. Stay tuned the giveaway begins Sunday.

Sunny Simple Life Has a New Look

I have a new look. Thanks to Dawn Cain from Creative Cain Cabin Custom Blog Graphics, I finally have a cleaned up, well organized look. I have always loved Dawn's style and when she offered custom blog design work I signed right up. She nailed it too. Simple, clean, bright and cheery. Thanks Dawn.

Let's face it I am as computer challenged as I am craft challenged, so hiring someone to whip my blog into shape was what I needed to do. My strengths lie more in creating the content I want to share so I am so glad to have someone I actually know re-design my blog. She did a great job don't you agree?

www.sunnysimplelife.com

Hi everyone. We made the switch to buy our domain or .com and the change was made today. You can still find us at blogspot but our new web address is http://www.sunnysimplelife.com/. If you have us on your blog rolls could you please update it or we won't show up any longer. Thank you all for all the support over the last few years and we are so looking forward to the future. I say "we" cause behind every blogger is a family that understands this thing called blogging and of course I can't leave out Mr. Sunny and all his decorating. He deserves ample credit for creating photo worthy scenes.
